Caldwell Reunion

This summer has been full of reunions!! A couple of weeks ago we went up to Colorado, just outside of Durango for the Caldwell Reunion. It was a blast and great to see Aunts, Uncles and Cousins I only see once in a while. On our way there we spent the night in Snowflake at my Grandparents, who own this fabulous tricycle, and of course Brody had to have a ride, courtesy of Stephanie!!
Cade was once again such a good baby the whole trip (how did i get so lucky??)
OK story time. We camped right next to a lake and you could rent paddle boats, which we did, and as you can see my husband and Uncle Nate are so nice to let the little kids paddle them around. Well me and my Aunt Holly decided we wanted to go for a paddle on a 2nd boat. So we are paddling and we notice that Cass and Nate have traded the kids positions and were headed full speed towards us. We were able to dodge them for 10 min or so but then Cass Jumps off his paddle boats swims to mine. Being the proud person i am i told him i would get in myself (didn't want to get thrown in) , which i do gracefully as to not get my hair wet, but of course Cass wouldn't let me get back in the boat till I went all the way under the water, IT WAS FREEZING!!!
Cade looks so cute in his sunglasses and hat!! (that's my Aunt Jen holding him)
Cass and Brody floated down the river.
The last day we were there we went into Durango to the alpine slide, and they had this cool trampoline, jumping thing. This is a video of Cass, i had to delete my video because due to my horror, my shirt was exposing my postpartum gut!! Luckily i don't live there and never have to see them again. But it was still fun and i even did a flip!!

I had never been down an alpine slide before they are way fun if you ever get to go!! this is a picture of mom just getting done, i love that she is so adventures!!

4th of July Weekend

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We went up to Eager for a Hunt family reunion. It was very relaxing and fun.

This is us with some of my cousins at the 4th of July parade.
Brody loved this car and any chance he had he was in it pretending to drive. That's my cousins little girl Cynthia, isn't she cute!!
Brody went on his first 4-wheeler and dirt bike ride, Cassidy's dirt bike broke before i could get a picture of them riding.
Brody also went on his first horse ride. Cass said he liked it until the horse started shaking its whole body trying to get flies off.
And you guessed it, while my husband and s0n where having all the fun on adventures i had Cade strapped to me trying to get him to fall asleep which he finally did, but i just had to stand on the side lines and watch them have all the fun, i guess that is what being a mother of two boys is all about. The last night at the reunion we had to were matching shirts as a family and as you can see Brody's was more like a dress!!Here is a picture of all my aunts and uncles let see if i can name them all. Starting top row left to right : Jennifer, Lizzy, Barbara, Blanche, Janeanne, Bottom row: Charlie, Ray, Roy (my dad). Granny Hunt, John, and Rex (my dads twin- in case you were wondering) I am sure i spelt all there names wrong but at least i tried.
And last here is a picture of some but not all of my cousins that went. My siblings and me are all in the bright bright yellow shirts!!

I asked Cassidy to get Brody a snack the other day and this is what happens!!Brody loves peanut butter, but instead of putting it on a piece of bread or just giving him a spoonful, Cass gave him the whole jar!! I just laughed because Cass was the one that was going to have to clean up the mess!!

Grandma Jesperson

Cassidy's Grandma Jesperson passed away Sunday night, so i thought i would write a little bit about this wonderful women i have gotten to know the last few years. She was truly an amazing women. Back in the day she was a pilot instructor, wow!! Not very many women now days fly planes but to be a pilot 50-60 years ago shows how ambitious she was. She was very organized, everything had its place and she always had her list of things to get done ( i hope to someday be as organized as her). She was a very righteous lady, her love of the gospel showed in her appearance, she always had a special glow about her. And i never saw her without a smile on her face. At 90 years of age she was still faithful about doing her visiting teaching ( just goes to show no matter your age there are always callings to fulfill). She was a great example to me and i hope to follow in her footsteps. I am so greatfull that she was able to have a relationship with Brody and Cade. She is greatly loved and missed!!

10 lbs 1 oz and 23 inches

If some of you are taking a double glance at the title thinking there is a typing error, i am here to inform you there is not. Cade Roy Trimble was born February 2nd and he was 10lb 1oz and 23 inches long. The funny thing is during this pregnancy I would always tell cass i don't care if he is 10lbs as long as his head is smaller than Brody's (Brody's head was so big he had to be suctioned out). Well i am happy to report Cade's head is a 1/2 inch smaller than Brody's!!!
Brody is adjusting well and always wants to hold Cade!!
As you can see in the pictures Cade's hair is jet black and makes Brody look like a ghost because he has such dark skin (for being a white boy). My mom predicted that Cade would be the opposite of Brody, he has hair and dark skin, unlike Brody who has no hair and is white!!
